When can I expect my book(s) to arrive?

We aim to fulfill orders within 24 hours, and then they ship flat rate in 1-3 business days.

Are donations calculated before or after tax and shipping?

Donations are calculated before tax and shipping.

When do you send donations?

We send donations on the 1st day of the second quarter following your purchase.

Example: Purchases made in the 1st quarter of the year (January through March) will have their donations sent on July 1st.

Why do you send donations quarterly?

This is to ensure that all bookkeeping, administrative tasks and any requests for refunds are completed before we irreversibly donate money to another organization. It keeps our company financially healthy so we can continue to operate and achieve our donation goal.

Can I request donations be sent to another organization?

At this time, no. But we are working to expand the options of organizations we donate to - stay tuned!

What can I do if I don't want the book(s) I ordered?

Please send an email to contact@alittlebreakbookstore.com with "REFUND REQUEST" in the subject line within 30 days of your purchase so we can process your request.

Unfortunately at this time, we do not. But it's something we are working to expand, so stay tuned!

Can you tell me more about the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention?

Yes! AFSP does a variety of things including but not limited to:

  • Give grants to researchers studying mental health and suicide
  • Advocate for public policy changes
  • Give presentations across the U.S. on how to prevent suicide
  • Work with suicide loss survivors
